Emma is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. She received her PhD from the University of Toronto in 2025, supervised by Prof. Silvana Pesenti and Prof. Sebastian Jaimungal, where her thesis was on model uncertainty in non-life insurance. Before that, she received an MSc in Mathematics and a BA (Honours) in Mathematics and Economics from McMaster University.
